The Graffiti application on Facebook is fun, and allows users to tap into a full suite of tools designed to unleash creativity.

Graffiti is a verified application on Facebook that allows a user to express himself through drawing, by creating images, which he may send publicly to his friends. One doesn’t have to be a Picasso to use the Graffiti application, as it is quite easy to learn. Below are some key Graffiti application features and tips on how to use the application effectively.

Using Graffiti on Facebook

Once a Facebook user has added the Graffiti application to his profile, he may then use the various colors and brushes available to create the images desired. Once the drawing is complete, the user may then click on the Save button in order to have the work of art posted onto his friends Facebook profile.

How to Control the Graffiti Application

A Facebook Graffiti user maintains full control of their Graffiti wall at all times. Just like with the normal Facebook wall, users may delete any Graffiti that has been posted onto his wall, or any that he has added onto a friend’s wall.

Features of the Graffiti Application

Post Comments - The Graffiti application allows Facebook users to view individual posts then post comments on the drawings made by friends. This allows users to have discussions about favorite works of art. A user simply needs to click on the Graffiti post image, and he is immediately taken to its individual comments page where comments can be included.

Animated Replays - Graffiti enables users to watch animated replays of art works made personally or by friends.

Quick Draw – This feature allows a user to create drawings directly from his profile page, and still has the ease of posting the drawing instantaneously.

Text Captions and Titles – A Facebook user may add titles or text captions to provide a brief description for art works. This is an improvement from the previous numbering system, as a user may personalize his image by giving it a title and brief description in a caption.

Showcase – Graffiti allows a user to proudly display his art creations on his profile page.

Advanced Drawing Interface – This feature allows a Graffiti user to work faster when creating a drawing, and gives more tools for getting art done quickly.

Save Progress – A Graffiti user may save his drawings in order to go back and complete them at a later time.

Unlimited Undo and Redo – This feature of the Graffiti application allows the user to undo and redo his drawings as many times as he wishes. This is a big help in ensuring that works of art posted are exactly what the user envisioned.

Sticky – A Graffiti user on Facebook may stick his favorite posts of drawings at the top of his wall to display to all friends that visit his profile.

Graffiti Public User Gallery – This is where a Graffiti user may include drawings that he would like to have featured for display to the public at large.

Text Resizing – This feature of the Graffiti application is a recent upgrade that allows a user to resize his images simply by clicking and dragging the nub located at the bottom-right corner of the text field. By horizontally dragging the nub, a user may alter the width of the text field, whereas dragging the nub vertically would result in changing the font size.

Color Wheel, Brightness, and Opacity Bars – These new additions to the Graffiti application enable a user to create any color he can think of to use in creating his images. Moreover, the five most recently used colors by the user are conveniently saved for quick access during his next burst of creativity.

To date, there are approximately over 15,000 drawings created by Facebook users through the Graffiti application, which are posted in the Graffiti user gallery. This application is gaining more and more popularity, as it is becoming more known throughout the Facebook community. Why not try a drawing today, and give the Graffiti application a whirl.
